To my parents place today

Hee today will be going back to my parents' place for dinner. Dear dear won't be able to join me as this week he is really very busy. Can sense his stress. And he fell asleep super fast, within few secs i must say.

Peili called me to ask if i am free today to accompany her to see dresses. She has function to attend and thought of investing in one. But today i can't, so we'll arrange for next week.

Oh ya, my mum needs to borrow from me lipstick & shoe for a wedding dinner. Hee i become the official supplier which i really enjoy doing so hee. Actually i can give her some of my lipsticks, i have plenty at hm! Why? Either free samples or i simply buy becos dear dear likes the colour. Oh ya, dear dear has different taste fr me. Guess man generally like red or pink lips while for me i like nude or brown lips hee. So that's why ended up with so many that i hardly use except for my usual beidge lipstick hee. As for shoes will bring 2 pairs for her to choose.

And talking abt mu for coming dinner, i come across the bobbi brown website where you can ask them for advice. And indeed they gave!! And so detailed!! They ask me to provide details for the function and my feature, complexion etc so that they can best advise me. Such a gd service!! Though i know i can never afford their pdt. The power of internet. Hee that's why anytime i got queries, internet i come. Hee i cut and paste their advice below. So sweet to see they address me Chloe hee :)

Bobbi does not suggest matching your eye shadow colors to your clothing Chloe. It is better to keep your look classic and to bring out your features.Start by using the EYE SHADER BRUSH to apply a light shade, like BONE Eye Shadow (off white), from the lashes to the brow. Then use the EYE SHADOW BRUSH to apply a medium, neutral shade, like SABLE Eye Shadow (a medium brown) or STONE Shimmer Wash Eye Shadow (a beigy silvery brown), from the lashes to about three-quarters of the way up the lid, so the color appears to "fade out" as it goes up. What a day

Yesterday dear dear gave me a super fright!!! I was taking my shower when he came back. He came back WITHOUT a sound. Even toby didn't alert me. So the moment i open the shower door, there was standing at the window with both of his hands up like a zombie. Immediately, i screamed "Ahhhhhh!!!!". Thereaft, kept reprimanding him. And he still gave me a cheeky smile. Ai yo.

Then as usual he wld tell me what he had for dinner, shark fin, lobster, scallop etc ....plus bird nest in almond paste...wow really all the top exotic ingredients..hmm. ok ok i know you gd life hee ;)

Today i do not do much just fold clothes and cook lunch for myself. Ya today the soup base tastes better as i added other ingredients like mushroom, dried shrimps, a bit of oyster sauce and sesame oil. Yummy but very filling as today not much appetite.

I ain't feeling too well today, increasingly feeling the effects of the hormone pills on me and this is just the 7th day, 13 more days to go. I am experiencing growing cramps at the womb area which ain't suppose to be so soon. Previously i had all these symptoms only few days be4 completion of medication. Felt terrible. At night also woke up becos of the discomfort. May call Dr chen to check with her. Now i feel so tired. I boiled red dates + other stuff drink for myself, hopefully can improve the blood circulation and i'll feel better.

What are we doing?

Hee while dear dear is out enjoying his sumptuous dinner at pan pac "hai tian" restaurant, i am staying at home watching tv. In the evening went for a walk with toby. Thought of buying dinner but by God's grace my sis bought roast duck + char siew rice hee! So nice ;) Actually i called my sis and wanted to join them for dinner but they are hvg at home so don't disturb them. Then my sis said she was at macpherson hawker, asked me if i needed anything. So that's how i am blessed with duck rice hee.

In the afternoon, i cooked fish ball ee-mee for lunch. Hmm nice having a change besides the usual rice, pasta or porridge hee. Mm nice to hv ee-mee (thks to judy's suggestion). Here's the pics. I only hv fishballs, onion and veg at home. Initially thought of settling with it but thought it won't be tasty or healthy so went down to buy ikan billis and mince meat. Mm beat the heat and went down. Hee i no like the sun ;) no gd for skin. So basically i walked under the shelter as much as possible ha ha. O ya indeed the soup base tastes better. Ok cook the same for tomorrow and see now to improve the soup base so that during weekend i can cook simple lunch if we are lazy to go out.

Oh ya, i came across durian pastry recipes in i-weekly. So so tempted to try out doing the durian puff. They sell at AMK mall, 20 for $6 but to go all the way there a bit far so tempted to learn. If i do try, will update the outcome.

Oh ya, i bo liao took pics of toby. Hee luv him very much. Yesterday, dear dear was sharing when we brought toby down for a walk. He was more worried abt toby than me if he does go overseas. Why this come abt le, becos toby still waits for us at the poach at my pil's place whenever both of us are out (whether shopping or eating). The confinement lady was commenting that the night we went out to celebrate father's day, Toby was under the dining table waiting for us to come back. He is super attached to us or me hee. Hee we are crazy parents who loved our dog so much. Outsiders may think we are nuts ha ha. But guess now no kid that's why. Hmm but i think i will still luv him in future.

Oh ya talking abt the pics. I took them while i was put putting at the common toilet. Hee didn't close the door ha ha. So as usual, when i called him toby will sit outside and wait for me. Then he wld disappear. To where? To bring his ball to ask me play fetch with him outside the toilet ha ha. He will bring the ball into the toilet and go out to the corridor and wait for me to throw to him hee :) So funny but very sweet.

Thankful

Today is Tue and the weather is not as bad as yesterday. Yesterday's aft was really hot to me, guess i was hvg headache, my mood really foul. Plus the renovation and lots of aircraft flying pass, really drove me bolts and nuts hee ;p

Cannot tanah, so pop a pill and its better. Evening time, prepare dinner. Last night, did Thai spicy fish. Actually wanted to grill chicken but no thighs avail. And given that i really not too well, didn't want to spend too much time on cooking, i bought instant sauce for the fish. Even though it stated no preservatives etc but how can that be right, still buy it and i know this brand tastes good. I sample be4. Oh ya its A1 sauce. Dear dear liked it too ;)

On Sunday, we went to buy baby Brandon's gift. Aft consideration, we decided to buy anklet as well. Reason being if we buy bracelet, definitely he won't wear but anklet maybe still got chance. Also anklet can be used as bracelet as well. Actually i am fine with pendant but dear dear find it funny to buy pendant w/o necklace. So we went to Lee Hwa & Poh Heng. Lee Hwa ones are nice The designs are very sweet (with beetle design, sailboat etc) and come in colours. But its not worth, we are paying a premium for the brand and airfreight. They are fr italy. Moreover, its white gold. Hence, we headed to Poh heng which sells gold, and more gold hee ;p

And i never knew gold is so ex, 1g is $37!! We saw one with 3-D cars but its over $300. Its way abv our budget. So we went with our 2nd choice. Teddy bear and bells hee. Its simple and within our budget. Its costs $140. Not much choices avail plus minus away all those with 8-gua and auspicious chinese symbols. So here it is! Pic below hee. Nice packaging.

Oh ya, why i titled thankful le. I am reminded to be thankful for the little blessings God provide. Indeed, God provides for my needs unknowingly. Remember we got the $300 robinsons voucher and yesterday got a $10 voucher which at be used at any Fraser's complexes which include causeway pt, compass pt etc. It always been a lingering feeling that i am not working and providing for the hsehld. And also not being to able to buy things i need. Yet i fail to "open" my eyes to see how God has provided for my needs. Thank you Lord!

Oh ya, my dear dear won't be hm for dinner tonight and maybe more nights to come as his angmo counterpart fr US came. So he'll be playing host and attending dinners with the suppliers + angmo. Ok i hv more free time for myself ;) Hee i can do facials at hm ha ha. Long time no pamper my face alreadi.

Yoga

Good morning! Today is a brand new day! While dear dear is washing up, i update my blog. Hee i done mine already while he is busy checking his emails again. Poor boy. Also i did yoga (sun salution) while he is at work hee. Very good stretching and blood circulation for the body. Its gd for toning the body. So i try my best to discipline myself to do everyday. Previous few days were rather short ones as don't be "so hero", today is abt 30-45mins hee. Will stretch longer as time goes by.

Hee i also encourage dear dear to do as really gd for the body. I can testify it. When my body starts aching or giving pain signals, its becos the blood circulation is not gd. This is a very common pblm for singaporeans. And dear dear buys the idea! He is keen to look ard for yoga classes where both of us can attend. Pure yoga is really a bit far and exp i must say.

Ok got to go! Go and hv late breakfast cum lunch la! Dear dear chasing again. Did i share he is a chaser!!! ha ha

Trial

Today spend most of the time at home as dear dear worked in the morning while i slept untill 11.30pm!!! Becos we slept very very late last night, 3am plus. He said cannot waste the day away hee. And aft work this morning, we went for lunch at rivervale mall. Thereaft, headed hm as dear dear very tired. So he slept while i spent time with toby and watched tv. "House" is a very nice show hee ;) Also, bath for my little boy.

When he woke up, we went to somersat for dinner and shopping. Half way thru his staff called and said something wrong with the machine. So kind of no mood already as dear dear worried that there will be loss again. Previously, they lost a few million dollars. We headed hm. While he is working on his pc, i again do trial make up as yesterday was a failure. Ya loh shld hv taken a pic!

Today i just concentrate on using blue only. Royal and light blue. But the results still look normal hee. Like black colour as can only see the black liner. Hee below are the pics. Ha ha my eye one side big and one side small as i only try on one. Feel so bad for my poor eyes with all the makeup. Luckily next few days no make up, my face can rest. Oh ya, the dejavu mascara is gd, i am growing to like it as its really very easy to clean and with it actually i don't need to put eye liner.

Hee only tested on one side. The other side normal with only mascara (oh ya gd right right, eyelash curl a bit right) plus just a bit of light blue. So funny ;p One big eye and one small eye ha ha. The magic of eye liner. Aiya lighting not gd and i didn't on auto flash

Finally an even closer shot of the eyes. Can see that its blue???? Can see my bloodshot eyes hee. Very tired and dry, so i hurry hurry remove eye mu. And put eye cream to moisture my eyes hee.

Fri night is the night

Hee now home alone with toby but very happy as own free time, with toby and the laptop ;p Where did my dear go? He just received a phone call fr his sec close friends, Ming soon & Andrew, ask him to join them for prata. And my dear hubby politely asks me "you won't be interested right?" Ya right, you don't want me to go juz tell me la ;p No la, frankly i not interested. A bit tired and remove make up and lens already. Moreover, i wanna watch my "Ghim Soon" that i recorded earlier. Got super hooked to the show now.

Before that we went to Chong chong for dinner. We went to sushi tei. Dear dear actually asked if wanna go to Great world city, hmm no scare got jam. Dunno why now the zouk super hot on fri night, can cause a super jam. Hee we ordered individual dish + plain rice to eat, very nice. We met his cousin's wife, Sharon there. She was on her way to her manicure. She is known for high maintence. But ok la she is a rich tai tai so can afford. Oh ya, we hardly see her in the same clothes.

Thereaft, we stroll ard chong chong and chit chat. Soon we headed hm hee. Not a lengthy date but ok hee. Happy ;) When reached hm, my sis called and said she wants to pass us kueh lapis. Hee got snack to eat. Now we have cheese cake, kueh lapis & dumplings at hm. Hmm sure put on weight again. Oh ya i vain, try to do smoky eyes. To test out for coming dinner but a great failure ha ha. I am thinking since i already have makeup on, why not test it but fail hee.

Also, my sis shared with me her beauty tips. She said fasio mascara is the best. She tried other brands like loreal, maybeline etc but nothing like fasio. Oh ya, i suddenly realise that my sis' eyes are brown! She has browner eyes than me. She thought i had too as our family has it. Too bad mine not as light as hers hee. But ok la. My sis really has beautiful eyes. She looks a bit like baba. Her features are more like my dad while mine like my mum.

Ok what else leh be4 i go play with my dear toby. Oh ya, we took pics. Realised we hardly took pics together so silly us snap a few for keepsake. Lastly, daddy said to give toby NB sausage for every meal is very ex, so only restrict one meal per day. The other meal plain kibbles. Initially, i was worried that toby won't eat but just now he ate and finished them all. True, when calculated, Toby's each meal will cost around $1.60. Ya not cheap.

Realise the dust on the sofa is making my face rash. While in the rm when the tv is spolit, my face very nice one lei. Aiyo yo. ;) Now put a thick thick layer of oxy10 on my face ha ha.

Its Fri!

Hee now got a bit of spare time, so update blog. Hee here's the pic of my new mascara, tonight can try on ;p.

Mm today a bit r & r. Just tidy up here & there ;) Tomorrow fellowship postponed till next week, at dan's new hse! I mean the newly renovated hse ;) But will be a bit rush for me as immediately aft that got a wedding dinner to attend. Oh no, pocket one hole again. Hmm what to wear lei. Hee actually not much choices left. Will be wearing a blue turquoise dress. Mm but what colour shld my eyeshadow be lei so that i don't look like a col plate hee ;) Hmm grey...ok think safe.

So tomorrow will go shopping for baby brandon's gift. My mil said don't buy anklet. Why? Becos she bought it already..hmmm..ok that means we can't buy. But i thought intially it was her idea? Ok will be looking at pendant and bracelet instead.

Lastly, these 2 days the weather so frantic. Sometimes rain, while other times so so so hot. My dear dear lost his temper yesterday while updating his report. True so so hot.

Quick Update

Wow so late alreadi! Time passes so fast. Now already Fri. Dear dear has been "occupying" the laptop for his weekly report till now. Poor boy. Hence, this is going to be a quick one if not cannot wake up to prepare breakfast for dear dear.

Hee today do hsehld chores. Finally cleared all ironing! Ya hor..hee but some for myself. As long as dear's done, i m happy. Went to mum's place for dinner. Mmm nice dinner, hee maybe becos i was super hungry so everything also nice. Before that was waiting for dear dear at causeway point as need to buy canned food for toby. But didn't find any that caught my eyes so for the time being stick to the NB sausages. Will source for NB (& others) canned food over the weekends. But heard that canned ones are comparatively more salty. Mm dilemma. Ya now also make it a point to boil porridge for toby once a week to clear his urine hee.

Ok ya hee i bought a new mascara using the robinsons voucher! Its a new pdt fr Japan, so i try hee ;) The fiber mascara (hee forget the name and lazy to check now hee;p). Why i buy becos it can be removed easily, supposedly to be able to remove using warm water. Suitable for a lazy girl like me! Hmm moreover, i wanna be gentler on my eyes :) And the fiber will help to curl the eyelash and thicken it at the same time. Though not as fantastic as using the curler (where u can curl super up) but gd enough for my standard. The promoter says it can curl very well aft apply more coat. Hmm will test to see if what she says is true. Actually very tempted to get brown col but stick with black to be safe ;)

Busy Week

The past few days had been busy till little time to update blog. Busy with recovering fr sickness as well as my 3 little kiddos. Hee toby, island and satin. Had been busy running btw 2 houses to keep them company, feed them and not forgetting clean toilets ;p Really enjoy the company of island and satin. They are somewhat different fr toby. Much more quiet. Satin is a timid girl who is contented with sitting on my lap. While mr island is a cute little cheeky boy. Loves to run around the hse on his own. And somehow suddenly forgets that he is playing fetch with me and walks to the window and looks at cars & birds hee. Brought toby there 3 times out of the 7 days but somehow toby doesn't seem to like to play with island. Island tries to start a play but my dear boy prefer the ball and satin :) And he is sort of jealous when i sayang the other 2 kids hee.

Overall, really enjoyable. Spending time with the 2 cuties and looking out the window. Tynny's place is comparatively more windy and her hse has a beach theme so very relaxing. When reach home, will play with toby. Ya, add in meat in toby's diet now. And he loves it tremendously. Brought Natural Balance Lamb meat. The one that looks like sausage. Mm a bit expensive $1.80 for a small sausage that can last for 3 meals. Looking for other alternatives.

This is Island

Ya yesterday rented the 200 pounds beauty (? can't remember the name) as my friend said its nice. But hmmm not really. I find it a bit slow and kind of expected outcome. Anyway jus for leisure.

On sun, celebrated father's day for my fil at the bottle tree restaurant. The food not too bad for the given price. But as usual my fil wld comment on the food and somewhat dunno how to express the appreciation for his kids' gesture. As long as it is not his usual heldout or food that he recommends, other food and service will be inferior. We kind of expected so just let him nag and we continue with our food hee. One ear in, one ear out ;p

Oh ya more pic of my nephew brandon. He is growing to look like his dad. He is rather yellow i find, so does the confinemt lady, neighbour etc say so. Hence on Mon (the one tt past), my sil brought him to see doc. Dunno how is he but no news is gd news. I must say he is a handsome boy. Got so big eyes like dad ;) So fast next wk is his 1-mth birthday. Suppose to buy gold anklet for him as instructed by my mil. Likely will get it this weekend.

Packed Day

Yesterday was really a packed day for me. Morning went to see doc fong. So fast it's one month. He said that i am doing fine. Glad to hear that. Thereaft, had lunch at Gleneagles as not so crowded. Had duck rice hee. Thinking since i was around town why not go for shopping since i yet to use the vouchers. Thus, i headed to Somersat Robinsons. The varieties were more than city hall. Yet those that i like, everytime i asked, the reply was "Sorry, no size". Spend almost 2 hours at the shoes section, looking at almost every single pair of shoes!! Finally, shortlisted 2, one fr Schroll, the other italian brand. One has comfort, the other design. Can't decide so headed home. Also becos i was getting tired, really tired. Shldn't have come out shopping since i am down with flu. Ai yo.

Reached hm close to 3pm. Rest for 2 hrs plus and started preparing lunch. But somehow still blur blur. Then dear dear called to say his colleagues will be over for chit chat session. Alamak, still got to entertain. But glad thereaft as can talk and listen to gossip hee. Enjoyed the session. We chit chat till 1 am!! By then, so drained, headed straight to bed hee.

Other Matters

Hee now taking a break after taking lunch and ironing clothes, update some bo liao stuff.

Dear dear carrying baby Brandon. He seems so experience! The more i look at baby Brandon, i find him looks like dear dear! Oh no!! If his sis' kid looks like him, then ours may look like our siblings. Hmmm.....


Yesterday, we went to compass point for dinner as well as see doc. At the atrium, there was a toy fair. And dear dear's fav toy was there. "Transformer, more than meet the eye". My dear is really a fanatic. He is so crazy over it that when reached hm, downloaded a review on Transformer at you-tube and makes sure that i watch him it with him!!! He's crazy right?! ;p Hee but very cute of him :) love you!

Last sat morning, went to place an order for a leather sofa for my mil. Here's the pic. Its very nice i must. Oh ya plus the coffee table. 3 seater + 1 seater + ottoman + coffee table. Its reasonable i must say. $4k. The 3 seater can sit up to 5 persons. Hmm if only we can get one for our hm too ;) Dear dear & siblings will chip in as mother's day gift.

Hee my little toby. Took a very close up pic of him while he was dozing off. Daddy said he looked like a monster hee. But i find him very handsome leh..hee guess all mummies feel the same for their own dogs ;)

Thank God for the Weather

Really thkful for the nice weather today! ;) While waiting for my porridge and steam fish to be ready, here i am updating my post. And my dear toby walked into our room alone and took a nap on the floor mat. So strange. He must hv felt neglected. "Mummy, what are you doing with the machine?".

---Pause--Hee i went to carry him out, now sitting on my lap infront of the laptop.

Overtime, toby as grew increasingly close to me. Just like a kid, can't leave mummy. Dear dear's family always call him the "human" dog hee.

Ya the technician will come on Thu to fix the tv again. Hopefully its for good. I miss my cable. Talking abt cable. Aiyo why increase price?? GST, price of egg etc, coffee, everything increase. Now for all packages, increase by $4. And worse still sports channel increase fr $15 to $25 in Oct!! Crazy!! But my dear cannot live without soccer.

---Pause awhile--Hmm the fish and porridge ready. Let it cool, then i can eat. Hee toby shld hv some porridge too!

This morning did sweeping and mopping of the living rm, later need to do folding of laundry hee;) Hmm tonight cook what leh? Simple dinner. Steam fish, dried chili chicken, veg, ABC soup (mm still can't decide if i shld cook herbal soup for dear dear). I can't drink as sick. That's mean i need to split the pork ribs but scare no taste. Ok later then decide.

Oh ya, father's day this sun (i think so). We are bringing our fil to bottle tree restaurant for dinner this Sun, near their hse. I want to bring my dad on sat but my sis can't make it as she will be away in Melbourne for training. Hence, postpone till next week. I thought of bringing my parents to the fish soup at balestier. They never been there. My mum loves fish and for my dad, healthier food for him ;)

Fresh air

Woke up, prepared breakfast for dear dear and saw him to work. Was still in zombie stage then but dear dear suggested that i shld go down for morning walk w toby. Was reluctant but glad i did. The air was fresh! Kind of woken up fr the drowsiness of medicine.

Hope that the weather is good today! Will do some light chores today.

Oh ya met the malteses just now. Every time when i saw the male owner, he won't fail telling me that greyhound is not suitable for HDB. My neighbour, Tyn even had a terrible experience with him. Wanted to explain to him that this is a toy breed but can't be bother this time as he will still tell me that greyhound not suitable for hdb whenever i see him.

And i saw fresh dog poo on the grass. Yet can't be sure if it was fr his dogs so didn't confront him. Moreover, i saw him holding a plastic bag. Really wish all dog owners will pick up the poo.

Ok got to go sweep the floor be4 my energy runs out ;)

Visit the doc

I fell sick. Confirmed. I went for an afternoon nap after drink lots of water, hoping i'll get well with rest. But no, it got worse! When woke up, my head was so so painful. And the heat got me really moody. Today was really a very very hot day!! Some more, there was renovation going on at one of our neighbouring flat ;(

So just thought of watching tv, hoping it can make me relax but oh no...the tv got a burning smell. It's spolit again!! Hmm i thought we just repaired! Thankfully, there is a 1 mth waranty. Now back to watching tv in the rm.

This evening didn't cook. Went to compass point for dinner as well as seeing doc at raffles medical. Hmm the docs there are really very lousy, very superficial. Aiyo. The reason i went was to get medicine and also becos dear dear can claim. He can claim for me as long as i visit raffles clinic. So i went. If on my own accord, i'll not.

Ok i go rest now.

Signs of Falling Sick

i think i am falling sick ;( I have a bit of running nose and headache now. Of all sickness, i hate running nose the most. So messy. On sat, Pam, Hannah and mercia were sick. So actually i was thinking then, i shld be fine since i didn't share drinks with them and i thought i am stronger now. Hmm apparently not, my immune system is still as weak as ever. I know for myself whenever i am with pple who fall sick, i can get the virus easily. The rest of the pple will be fine but i easily kanna ;( But again its so unkind to stay away fr pple (esp those i care), so i rather just the risk. That's the reason why, dear dear always call me "white pomfret" hee. Always pale pale and fall sick. Ok ok now need to drink lots and lots of water be4 it fully erupt.

Hee dear dear is thinking of getting a video cam. Initially, he wanted to get a digital camera but aft discussion we prefer video cam as can capture the sounds and motions. I prefer video cam too! Sometimes pics just can't tell the full story. So now we are gathering info.

Relieved

Now home alone with Toby. Dear dear out for wedding lunch at Hyatt. Hmm life really different without dear dear. Both of us grow so attached to him already hee. This morning accompany him to cut hair.

Yesterday was really an eventful day. Supposed to meet Chris, Judy and baby AN for dinner together with BS grp. But suddenly received a call fr Judy to say that they met an accident and baby AN might be hurt. At that moment, my heart nearly stopped. So immediately, dear dear and I went over to changi village to find them. Thereaft, went to KK hospital with Judy and baby AN as Chris needed to wait for police to come settle the dispute.

In the ambulance, I was really praying hard that baby AN wld be alright. Suddenly a peaceful voice came into my heart to assure me that she'll be fine. God also wanted me to be strong and not fear. Frankly, at that moment my heart really beating very fast. The last time, i was in ambulance was when my dad had a sudden heart attack (thk god, it was a minor one) and his lips were pale. So was thankful to hear God's voice. I always read abt pple hearing God's voice but i never did. They shared its not fr something outside, its smthg within. Yes, its something inside.

When reached hospital and saw baby AN woke up, i knew she wld be fine. So i just sat outside to wait for Chris and dear dear to come. Later, saw Judy and baby AN and glad to see that Judy had calmed down. Knew that things were good. We, dear dear & I left for dinner. Really thk God.

Really things wld happen anytime, anywhere, so i learn to really treasure my loved ones. Thank God for everything.

Its Friday

So fast its fri again. Just finished cleaning up the hse. Suppose to get dear dear to help but am feeling better today so i did it on my own. Vacuuming, mopping and changing bedsheets. Aiyo so drained. The right hand is so tired and numb. I really salute all housewives! Its a tough job. Labour intensive job. Really wish the hse is smaller. Or i know how to use my left hand better hee. If ever hv a chance to shift hse, i wld like a smaller hse hee ;)..so no need to clean so hard ha ha.

My mil called yesterday. She wants us to bring her see sofa tonight. Earlier on, the siblings wanted to buy her a set of new sofa as mother's day gift. But my fil didn't want to let the kids spend $, also they sell furniture why buy fr other merchants. My mil prefers modern design which they don't carry. So ding dong ding dong, decided not to buy. Now the topic is up again. Why? Becos my sil and nephew are now staying with them and they'll hv visitors. So my mil wants a new sofa again. Hmmm...

Ok later i'll go to meet dear dear be4 meeting my mil (mm don't feel like going as tired, see how). And later, need to wear a bit of office attire as she doesn't know i am not working. So really dread to lie. Sometimes, i really hope dear dear can go intel, give me a reason to tell my pil that i quit my job.

New Friend Found - Bin Bin

To start off, our tv is back! And the 2 delivery guys were helpful. They helped to ensure that the tv is connected back to the cable box as well as the sound system. They even asked me to play a DVD to check. Thankfully, we did! 1st time round, we cld play but the pic was in b/w. Aft switching ard with the wires, it was in full col. Likewise for the cable box, somehow wasn't able to get the connection. Tried so many times until i said why not i get my husband to fix it (anyway i was thinking dear dear shifted the cable box to our rm, so he shld be able to do it). But one of the more experienced guy was persistent and finally we managed to fix it! Yahoo! A+ for their service. Hee i offered them a coke and vitagen (hmm run out of coke).

Ya, supposedly to go back to my mum's place today. So i gave mum a call to find out how she was. Glad to hear that she is better. Road to recovery. Can tell fr her voice she is feeling much better. But she prefers me not to go back today as she is very tired fr work and prefer to rest. Indeed, rest is important. So i either go back tomorrow or next week.

So i brought toby down for a walk. And he met a new friend (Labrador) called bin bin and the owner called auntie joanna. She is nice and chatty lady. Got to know that bin bin was hit by a van yesterday!!! Auntie Joanna was so so worried that he wld die as he kind of "flew off" fr the hit. She sent him to vet immediately. There wasn't any external injuries and bin bin seems alright. So the vet told her to monitor bin bin these few days to see if there is any bloody stool; vomit or anything unusual. Will pray for bin bin.

How is happen? Auntie Joanna off leash bin bin along the road (the round abt at our place), and when she was picking up his poo, he dashed across the rd and hit by the van. The driver didn't see him as he was camouflaged by the bush. But the driver upon hitting bin bin, just drove off!! So bad!!!

Morale of the story, do not off leash your dog at the roadside even you think its safe. Really hope that bin bin is alright. Should be, given that he is well the whole of today. Now auntie joanna doesn't dare to off leash bin bin.

Really nice meeting her. Also toby enjoys bin bin's presence ;)

So Uncomfortable

So fast thur already! Wake up, prepare breakfast for dear dear and see him off to work :) Last night didn't really hv a gd sleep as stomach uncomfortable the whole night. Felt so so bloated and the small & large intestines were moving non-stop. By morning, pain starts to sink in. Already took the medicine be4 sleep, still like that :( Eat a few more times and see, if not maybe change doc.

Suppose to visit mum today but now need to monitor if i can go out. Now whenever i stand up i feel nauseous. I really feel like a pig now as doc suggested that i shld take small meals every hour instead (and this is supposedly to be long term due to my weak intestines..oh no). Did i share, i put on weight!! Now 48kg alreadi....so so sad..!!! Gd & bad lo ;(

Miss mum as last week didn't go back. She ain't feeling well then and asked me not to go back, scared she'll spread to me. Very thoughful of her. So what i can do is to call her frequently to see if she is feeling better. Today, really hope to go back.

Dear dear is very sweet to offer his help to clean the house tomorrow. So for today, i can simply rest and wait for the LG man to deliver our tv at noon.

Ok that's for now. Go back and lay down.

Gastric on protest

Was away the whole afternoon at compass point. Went to see doc again as the medicine he prescribed to me earlier on was giving me chest pain and nauseousness. Waited a long while for him as he had some urgent procedure to attend. Cldn't tanah the wait and super strong aircon so went to window shop around till the assistant called me hee.

The doc was saying might be there was too much gas in the body and one of the medicine he had given me earlier on might agrrevate it further. So change another type of medicine. Just ate and will monitor. Hmm for now i still feel nauseous but it was even be4 i took the medicine. After meal, i already felt it. Guess my intestines are on strike now hee.

Eat too little cannot, eat too much also cannot, they so hard to please hee ;p

After seeing doc, window shop a bit be4 doing grocery at cold storage. Oops today is green day, need to pay for plastic bag. So instead i hand carry the items (chicken & potato) and went to buy a loaf of bread fr 4 leaves. Hee use the plastic bag (free) to put the things. Cheap-po me hee, no lah can save, must save. Oh ya, i knew cold storage sold things for a premium but i didn't know by how a great difference till today! Today i am of cooking fish but no fish fillet at cold storage. Instead i bought chicken thighs at $4.40 for 2. At prime mkt, it is selling at the most $3.50! So i am paying an additional of $0.90 or more! To a housewife, this is a lot of money. You can buy add veg for this! Also, potatoes are more exp too! By a difference of $.05 - $0.08 for 1 potato.

Ok next time, will not buy fr cold storage unless really neccessary. Hee really a hsewife now, aiyoh. Now i am stricter on myself. Disciplining myself to spend $5-$6 for a dinner. If not, will be like eating outside + carpark fee. The most can stretch to $6.50 if its for "pu" purposes.

Ya, both of us are watching our diet. So we are cutting down on the intake of carbo. Yesterday, i prepared salad and small portion of pasta (half the usual portion) and today grilled chicken. Hmm but somehow the portion is still very filling. Will learn to cut down more.

Just now, we took toby out for walk. And our dear boy had a funny practise. Whenever, he reached our floor after the walk, he wld dash to our door in split secs. We'll always ask him, what's the rush? Daddy & mummy still far away. Guess he just enjoys sprinting hee.

The tv will be delivered tomorrow noon. So fast! Yahoo! The cost of repair + delivery is $336, that's reasonable. Ok need to control watching tv, even if i enjoy the noise despite not watching hee ;p Oh ya, the technician was saying that if we ever get a LCD tv, we need to get an extended warranty. Based on his experience, most LCDs will need repair aft the 1yr warranty. Oh no, ours is free fr Starhub, no extended warranty!! Ok ok watch less often to prolong life span.

The TV Man

Around noon, the LG man came and checked on the tv. The transformer may be spoilt and there is shor circuit. So need to being back to factory to repair. Will take about 3 days. The service is fast, i just called yesterday and they come today.

Hee so cute upon seeing the stranger, Toby sticks close to me. He just sat by my side. And once in a while will go and sniff the technician. Hee so cute the guy asked if Toby is a female ;)

When the tv finally left with them, i continued watching tv in the rm, hee with toby. 3 days later we shld be out in the living rm again! And know what, when i zip the channels, i came across a show on arts central named "Dibo, the dragon gift", hee so so funny. Never knew such name really exists. "Dibo" is an alternative name that daddy gives to Toby. We'll say "where is the dibo dog.." when we came hm from outside. So cute.

My neighbour, tyn called. Actually i hv been wanting to call her but hmm don't know how. Why? Becos she was in her 1st trimester then and the doc is saying the baby is a bit unstable. May hv a chance of losing it. So when she called i am really thrilled that her baby is stable, in a week's time, she'll be in her 2nd trimester. Oh ya, her reason for calling is she needs my help to take care of Island and Satin on 14 - 19 jun as she'll be away on church camp. During the conversation, she was suggesting to pay me as she checked out the rates on hse boarding and dog-walking and found them really expensive. In that case, why not let me "earn" the money.

Immediately, i said her silly girl. What are friends/neighbors for hee. Anyway i stay so near, and i can see the two cuties too! She is thankful, hee so am i. Thereaft, she shared on her pregnancy experience. And we (i) never know that for some girls when ovalating they may bleed too. She consulted 3 gynaes and finally found one good one at thomas medical. And how's she conceived. The previous docs told her that wrong (or shld i say not so accurate) ovalation date. Also, when your menses come, it doesn't mean you ovalate. She said when we ovalate, there is only a window period of 3 days to try hv baby. Wow, just she said like striking for 4-D. That's also the reason when the doc asked her to stay in bed for 2 weeks as the baby is not very stable, and also given that she is 34 this year, its really a gift, must treasure it. She heard a lot of good feedback abt this female doc, hee she also makes effort to check on forum on this doc! Moreover, her church mate who is a doc too, sad that this doc in sch is a top scorer. Mm really God's blessing.

Hee she asked me "Got any news". My response "Not try yet". Actually i hv been thinking abt this for the past few days (but didn't really pray abt it). Dear dear is interested in a job, which wld require him to go for training for at least 6 mths. He is really really keen on it as he really desire for a change of environment and i am very happy for him. So if he got this job, we will hv to go to U.S. So how abt family planning? Either i try to conceive there or wait till we come back. Give birth there, baby a US citizen? Confinemt how? Guess the factor is "age" for me. Mm this yr 31yrs, next yr 32yrs already. If we plan to hv 2, then i hv to give one aft the other, to avoid the 35yrs mark hee;) Also, not say want, then can hv. So this is on my mind recently hee.

Above all this, i am still very thankful for life right now. Even though it can be dry at times, i am happy. Just pray that our path will be clearer as we head towards July.

To the beach we come

Yesterday we went to east coast park! I was lazing around on the mat while dear dear went to jog. Toby was sniffing ard and marking his terrorities. But when i took out the frisbee, he was excited!! Still yet to learn how to grip the flying frisbee and return to me. He likes to grip it and take it far far away hee;)




Ya east coast beach is real packed as compared to the past. We saw tents closely pitched up next to each other, and there are more than 10 of them at one spot!! Even the beach is packed with pple now. Where can we go in the future???

Reached hm bath toby and headed for breakfast at rivervale mall. Dear dear wanted to cut his hair but i thought it looked fine, so didn't in the end. Along the way, we were chatting if given a chance we wldn't study the course we had studied. Instead, (for dear dear) he desired to be geologist, archilogist (dunno), those to do with nature...Mmm i was rather surprised by that hee. Likewise for me, maybe i'll study geography. Hmm we are really a match ha ha. Thereaft, I took a short nap while dear he played ps2 again ;p

My mil called to ask us go hm early as ah-ma and er-gu wld be joining us for dinner and visit my sil after that. Becos of this, our poor toby got to stay hm yesterday. Reached hm, got to know that my sil may be suffering fr post natal depression. Even the confinemt lady was saying so too. My sil cried a lot for the past 2 days. Worried abt not enough milk and many other things like why baby sleeps so much; why baby wakes up; why he is crying etc . She even worried abt the confinemt lady. Somehow felt that she is an outsider. My sil also worried if she can cope if her hubby goes back to work on Tue. That's really signs of depression. Guess its really a challenge for her given that she super dislikes kids before this. And she insists on giving full breastmilk and hasn't been resting enough (got chance to rest, she didn't rest).


So in the end the solution is to shift back to my mil's place for 1 mth. She feels more secure there. Guess its gd for her. But you know what, my 'wonderful' fil is really super insensitive with the words he used. He is not too bad person in heart but in words he fails badly. Imagine your daughter already feeling super lousy, he commented that its better that she shifted back to stay with them. Why? Becos "your hse is too nicely deco, so you wldn't feel comfortable to see the hse so messy. Unlike my hse, long time never paint, old sofa, hmm you'll feel better there."..."You also can't hv anyone (outsider) stay with you one, not even a maid". I was thinking in my heart, she is already so helpless, with your "kind" words, she will feel "indebted/uncomfortable" to come hm, yet she really can't cope.



And my pil like to compare themselves with us...why why..last time policeman wear shorts le. Now the environmt is different, the upbringing is also different, how to compare. If i hv a baby, i really dread having all these folks around. I mean they can offer gd advice but too much is eeee.

At the same time, i was sharing with dear dear abt my concerns whether i'll be in the same stage too. But knowing him, he said "Hmm i know you very strong one, sure can handle"..ok ok what can i say. But i learn that, its impt to take things easy. Can give formula milk if not enought breastmilk. Is not a do or don't thing. As long as the baby is growing healthy, its fine. Even dear dear is fed on formula milk as my mil has not enough breastmilk. And he is doing fine now. Mm really not easy being a mother. Last night, really give me a cold shoulder hee. Thankfully dear dear assured me that i'll be fine as i take gd care of toby and love him. ok ok that's comforting hee ;) though i know its different hee but gd enough to let me hv a gd night sleep.

Oh ya we borrowed a rubis' cube hm to play. So interesting, i never ever solved it!! My brother was so frustrated then, that he simply dissemble it hee. Last night, my brilliant dear dear went to the net to search for solution. Indeed, we found one! Finally, we managed to solve the cube...hee thru following instructions ;p wow there are over 100 turns!! We tried to study how pple turn the silly cube hee.

Dear dear managed to form one side of the cube - the 1st step to learning the tricks of rubis ' cube. Me a bit stupid, struggle the whole morning, still cannot. ok will try later.

Hmm later will be going to the doc as haven't been feeling too well for the past 1-2 weeks. Remember the yellowish nails. Also my lower intestines had been painful, especially when i am hungry, i'll feel really nauseous. Some nights i wld hv very bad cramps too. Now i hv backache as well. Oh ya, there was once my urine, really stinko, smells like nail polish remover!! Later going to raffles medical so that dear dear can claim...hee the privilege.

I always joke i am the sicko queen. Always sick until i become expert in medication. But the main reason is also becos my intestines are not gd, even i eat alot my body is not absorbing the nutrients. On the positive side, i will stay in shape hee. Will continue to take care of myself hee ;)
