People Come, People Go

People come, people go, there are some people you wish you never know. Yes, at this juncture this is my sentiment. When you open up yourself to some whom you thought you can trust but somehow it isn't the case. Somehow felt taken aback. Yet you know this is the reality of life. When words are many, sin is not absent. A good reminder that i ought to be alien of this world.

Ok anyway, thk God, i have my dear dear, my family and my toby dog!!! ;) They are really the sunshine of my life!

I called home in the morning and all are well. And its still seems that Toby has brought a bundle of joy to my family unknowingly and now the new neighbours too!! The couple neighbour likes Toby very much and spend time playing w him in the corridor. That's so sweet of them. As usual, Toby boy is the closest to my mum. He will follow her whenever she may go. If she goes shower, he will wait outside for her till she is done.

Yet the same time i am concerned abt the separation anxiety that Toby may develop, esp coping when nobody is ard. So encourages mum to give him treats or toys when they are not ard and not to 'notify' Toby when they are leaving the hse so that Toby will find it ok to be alone. Hee really thkful for the animal planet for these valuable knowledge.

Feeling better

Yes, today i am feeling better. And you know why becos I am suffering fr the side effects of the drug that cos me to be miserable for the past few days. I know i have this pblm here. Somehow the medication here seems all so strong for me. I already told the doc that the medicine seems to be strong for me and they tried to give me milder ones. The 1st medication wks ok w me and i can tolerate the side effects but not the 2nd one. Really take a toll on me. Hence, the nurse told me to stop for 3 days and resume with a lower dosage of 1 pill a day. But u see actually i hv tried on my own, 1 pill but it isn't any better. Hence, dear dear suggested that i take half for a start.

Come to think abt it, it seems that the medication here which is supposed to help me recover, actually caused more discomfort. Hee but again i can't blame anything, i just hv a weaker body constitute. Next time, my resolution is to try off-the-shelf medication first, and the KIDS ones before seeing any doc here.

Now, i am occupied with filling the medical insurance claim form. Guess this is the -ve side of staying in a foreign land.

Where hv i disappeared to???

Hee if you hv been wondering where i have disappeared to...

1st of all, haven't been feeling well. Got bad gastric pain last wk, so busying searching for a doc and seeing one. Not forgetting resting...sleep and sleep and more sleep

2nd of all, my dear dear has been 'chopping' on the laptop. Why le? Becos he is now hooked to Initial D. So i asked, "I thought you watched it be4". His wonderful reply was, "This time is different, last time it came with chinese subtitles that i absolutely hv no idea what it was saying. Now with english sub, i can understand why Takomi drove in particular..". Oh dear, he and his driving again.

Hopefully i will fully recover by this wk ;)

One Fine Sunday

Today is monday and yesterday was sunday, tomorrow will be tues...hahaha..sounds nice ;p

Hee while dear dear is doing his wk fr home, i update my blog lo and i enjoy listening to the song.

His colleague, Jenny just came over to hv dinner with us. She just came back from Virgina and bought chocolate and fridge magnets fr hersheys house for me. Hee so sweet of her to remember me. I luv the chocolate she bought!! Actually i was thinking of it and here it is. So happy ;)

Oh ya, the clothes fr VS came!! And they fit and the quality is good. But realise that these clothes are not made under VS branding, rather fr a variant brands. Hmm interesting platform to sell other pdts. That explains why i only saw VS lingerie outlets here..

Before that my neighbor Pria, brought her 2 kids here to 'sit sit'. Can tell that she is bored at times over here. Will make it a pt to chit chat with her, and pop by her place more often. I showed her my florida and grand canyon pics and when talking abt the miami beach and the nude pics (hee dear dear naughty, he did some camera trick to make one of his colleagues appear nude), we hv a gd laugh hee ;p

Hee she invited me to go over to her plc to play wii one of these days ;) That's sweet. I wld really like to give it a try. I heard and seen of wii, yet i know i am not a gaming person, so will nvr buy one. Its nice to hv a neighbor who has and i can try it out ;)

What else leh...."now you see it, now u don't"...before summer its gone, took pics of the trees outside the balcony. Now its green, slowly turning yellow. So amazing. I will hv full collection of the trees thru the 4 seasons here in no time.




Yest was sunday...we went gym to wk out...no cooking for me, rest day...so we went to pack dinner, be4 that went to do grocery. Hee realise the price of rice has come down. It used to be $21.99, now $17.99 for 10kg...haha sounds so auntie liao ;p

Took some photos of dear dear and myself on the way out. Hee finally got a chance to wear sleeveless, not when going to fishing or other outdoor activities ;p kia kia and grocery shopping can la hee...haha rule of thumb, anything more than 5 mins outdoors, cover up hee hee u must be thinking i m crazy ;p

Now, let me officially introduce to you my trade mark in utah. Me and my 'inverted' victory sign haha..Somehow hv a tendency to do that (if you noticed fr my earlier pics) and now some of dear dear's colleagues also noticed and pose along with me ;p haha but they forget to invert it hee 'p

You see i am darker now, but got a light goggle ring ard my eyes area becos constantly wearing sunglasses..hmm actually not too bad to hv a permanent goggle right 'p...dear dear said 'i darker, looks healthier'...but no no no i don't want

I realise the trick is to take pic with tonnes of yellow lights...look fairer....fairer right or the same?

But i can never never tell the difference leh...i still think its a gimmick. But i must say he looks nice and sporty in it hee ;) Handsome guy but can you smile, no need to act cool

Ok that's the end, of a long weekend and some bo liao pics. Oh ya why long le? We realise, with only the 2 of us and no activity, time seems to be longer and dear dear enjoys it very much. So am I..really enjoy the stroll along the golf course and the estate...only 2 of us, holding hands...hee feels romantic...but not every wk la ;p

Hwee Eng replied Mail...so so happy

I am really very very (x100) that hwee eng replied mail!! So happy to know that she still remembers me...and so so happy that she is still walking close to God......and so so happy to know that she is bringing pple to Christ, so so so proud of her.....and so so happy to know that she is serving in children ministry and going on a mission trip...

Words simply cannot express my joy to see how God has watched over her and brought her to where she is today. Pray that God will continue to nurture and protect. Reminded me that the imptance of keep sowing, you may never see the harvest, but just believe God is watching and watering the seeds.

My Leleo

Haha yes i hv my leleo!!! Dear helped me to create this on my blog hee. One of my fav song by David Cook. Hee will find more songs to insert hee.

Oh ya, this wk is a layback wk. Bascially just the 2 of us as rm mate went back to s'pore. Really enjoy time alone w just dear dear and no activities. Anyway, ain't feeling well recently. Went to doc yest, as stomach really pain. And the doc is really thorough here. Within a visit, they tested my urine and blood to make sure i am not infected. Now on medication, hope will be fine soon.

Yesterday, dear dear brought me to a distant town for shopping. Is in Orem, abt 25 miles fr our place. I really luv that place. I find it very transquil and shopping is everywhere. Guess with the mountains as backdrop (mountains are just behind, where ours is fr a distanr, the place just simply find different). And i finally bought a pair of jeans of my size!!!! So so so happy. And its only $19.80! We were commenting that we cld feel that autumn is coming as the temp is slowly dropping. The night time temp is falling, not cold but u can tell that summer is drawing to a close. Hence, i am thkful i can find a pair of jeans of my size and liking ;)

I am utterly surprise!!

Indeed, I am. You know what one of my PT girls called me at my mum's place! I am so so surprised and glad that she still remember me aft all these years after leaving the Nav ministry. She gave me her mobile no and email address. I just dropped her an email, hope to hear fr her soon. Not sure how is she...hee guess she might be getting married??? Hee let's hear fr you.

Her call brought back sweet memories of SP Nav, the lives you spend time with, and how they grew then.

Then & Now...Time flies & we age

Suddenly feel like comparing ourselves then & now. Tonight not cooking so hv time on hand. The last night before dear dear came to utah and after more than half a year, where we united, how we become. Hmm 2/3 of us. We still miss dear dear as much.

Guess becos of the dry weather here, we both hv aged. Sad to know yet i know we need to move on. Toby back home will also age ;(

For me, i hv put on a bit of weight, while the rest of the world rejoices, i felt a bit sad. Whenever i try to lose weight, i will get critics. I know they hv gd intention. My complexion has been deteroriating due to constant exposure to the sun, esp my eyes. When too hot, i will get heat rash on my eyes and face too. Aiyoyo. And dear dear has wrinkles too.

Just ordered some clothes fr VS

Ya today i just ordered 3 pcs of outfit fr Victoria secret clearance sale, with addn 25% and hee i only paid $4usd. Reason being i hv got a VS gift card from a friend earlier. Finally, use it.

I got myself a track pant, in replacemt to the one i torn fr one of the hiking trip ;p Hee can't recall when was the last time that i wore smthg till it torn. So paiseh ;p

I also got myself a long sleeve tee in preparation of the coming autumn. I think it shld come ard sep/oct.

Finally, can't think of anything to get to utilise the bal gift card, got myself a short sleeve tee in black, haha just to be safe for all occasion ;p

Will wait for them to come while at the same time, will get dear dear to bring me slc to ask for a refund for the abercombie bottoms that were too big.

So fast weekends are round the corner. Time really flies. Dear dear & CM are planning to go fishing this sunday at strawberry lake. They said hv a lot of fishes and prawns. Use bare hands to catch. Oh no!!!! Frankly, now i wanna hide in the shade till i recover. How, how....There are rashes ard my eyes that have yet to recover. Eyes area very sensitive. Must protect hee ;) I don't want to get any darker hee ;p

Was clearing my mail and saw the forwarded chain mail. So sad to see the baby in the condition. The face was badly burnt. Prayed that she will be alright. I had never seen babies got burnt. It must be very very painful for her given baby has such delicate skin ;(
