Yes we are home! Really miss home. Realise that we slowly felt in luv with Utah, its environment & its people. Hee i like cold weather than hot hee.

We all enjoy the florida trip ;) The 1st 2 days we spent our time in Disney. We took photo with Mickey & Minnie ;) They so so cute. Went ard the theme park watching shows and taking rides (hee not me la, i timid, no dare to take those thrilling rides). I took the simply rides and teacup ride that i miss so so much. But the guys were very naughty, they kept spinning the wheel and the cup kept spinning & spinning...

The most memorable of 1st day had to be the night parade & fireworks!! Its so mesmorising!! All disney characters were out and their costumes had light bulbs!! And the firewks were magical. The scene was breathtaking and the firewks lighted up the Cinderalla castle and a real tinkerbell flew fr the castle to another building. The firewks lasted for so so long, all of us and others just simply sat down and watch the fireworks.

On the 2nd day, we went to MGM to watch all the stunts, thrill rides and musical shows. Again, if you asked me what was the most memorable, i got to say the 'Beauty & the Beast' musical. Its so so stunning and touching. And we were shocked when an ang mog old lady teared! Also, not forgetthing the fantasmic show. Its similar to sentosa musical fountain but triple in spectacularity! Disney is really magical & impressive!!

Wanna upload some photos but dear dear yet to upload into this laptop. We will do a photobook for this trip. Perhaps do one for yellowstone too.

Hee dear dear bought me an eehore soft toy. I luv it so so much. Just in case, he is the donkey in winnie the pooh. Now i hug it every night. Somehow, i realise his face resemble toby ;p

Ok the sad part...i got real bad sunburnt or its called red flashes. Its was really hot, 95f. Initially was thinking it will be nice if its was cloudy, with no sun. But realise that God had watched over us indeed. The rest of the east were experiencing thunder storms while we had sunshine, beautiful pics. Actually before we went, i did a weather search, it was supposed to be thunderstorms for the entire trip. But we experienced none, only a short shower on 1st day. Really thkful.

Oh ya talking abt my skin. Just within 1st day i got heat rashes. Then i realised that my skin was sensitive to direct heat. It wld be red & itchy. The rest was ok. So thereaft, i took an umbrella and helped a great deal. Now my skin is recovering. Peeling off the skin. Dear was actually amazed but my healing rate!! Haha and the gang said that i am 'candle lady'. I can only come out at night haha. Ya lo, i also forget when was the last time i had been out in the sun for that long ;p

My resolution, i shld consider getting uv clothing!! Haha!! Yes there is something known as uv clothing that protect u fr uv rays. Its available at cabela's (a hunting store). Will ask dear dear to bring me there one day.

Ok where was I. Subsequently, we went to Daytona USA Nascar speedway. Only till that day, i cld better comprehend why men luv cars & speed. It was really very educational for me. Hee there was a simulation game to see who had the fasting lap speed...and u know what..i came in 1st amg the girls...We were utterly shocked!! As i m the only one who can't drive!! And to start off i had problms getting out of the garage!! Nice surprise. As for the guys, dear dear came in 1st. Kind of expected hee ;p

Ending our stay in orlando, we drove to miami. 3 and half hours' drive. We stopped by fort lauderdale, the venice of america, and took a cruise. Wow wow wow. Totally stunned by the beautiful homes along the river bank.

The next day we went to Key West. To me it was the highlight of the trip!! Superb. We took a yacht out and did kayaking, snorkelling & watching the beautiful sunset on the yacht!! We kayak in the middle of the alantic ocean!!! The water was only 4-5feet deep. Somehow in the middle of the ocean, there is a mangrove and moving sandshore. We went down fr the yacht and kayak, looking at the nature and birds. Thereafter, we did snorkel!! Yes, i can snorkel hee despite i can't swim. Thk God for the invention of float and life jacket. It was a very very memorable experience!! As i can't swim much, dear dear held my hand thru out and lead me to see the fishes, reef & lobsters!! Really thk God for dear dear's loving hand ;)

Then, we sat down to watch the beautiful sunset which key west was famous for and a beautiful yacht. It was really so so beautiful to watch the sun submerge into the oceanline. Little did i realise that sunset actually happens so fast till that day.

The nxt day, we headed back to miami and went to everglades national park. Once again, i am really thkful for God's provision. You see, i took out this item fr the itineary as reviews said that july you may not see the aligators as its high tide and too warm for them. But u know what, before we reached the destination, there was a heavy downpour while we were hvg KFC. And the tour guide said, u had a better chance to seeing them aft the rain as aligators like the cooling weather. Indeed, we saw countless of them!!! Really thkful.

Hee hee, the next day we went to the nude beach. And we saw nude bodies laying all ard. And you know what proportionally we saw more males than females!!!! Guess a lot are gays ;p We were the only ones with clothes on haha. So aft a while we left and headed to miami south beach. Actually you can see ladies taking off their tops to sunbath in south beach. We actually saw a couple just next to us!! We girls just chatting away talking abt the size, shape blah blah blah..;p

Thereaft, all of us headed into the water and play ball. The water was very salty. But i really enjoyed my time in the water. It was fun to hv the waves hitting on you. Indeed, south beach was beautiful. You can see the ocean in variant shades. Its gorgeous.

Finally, on Sat, we headed home to Salt Lake City. On the way, they started to discuss the next destination..Hmm let's see how. Now pocket got a hole already ;p Mend the hold first ;p

Oh ya, did i share i lost my hp!!! Ya i lost my US hp while taking one of the thrill ride. With the turning and twisting, plus perhaps my pocket is shallow, its just went disappeared!! ;(

My abercombie came! And my findings on sizing hee

Hee be4 i left for florida, my shipment came. I ordered fr the kids' website as its cheaper haha, also some designs are nicer. Frankly, i don't know why abercombie is so popular here? Given the material is not fantastic. But its seem to be common that its soft cotton for outfit here.

Also as I share to my dear friend Judy abt the size...hee guess we asians really really petite overhere. Hee also thkful that she shared to me abt her experience at VS. This gives me more confidence to buy over the net now than ever!! Hee its good to hv a friend here to exchange info.

Oh ya, hee ladies stuff...buying bra here..bust size 32 inches seems to be uncommon here! Some designs start from 34 inches. Alamak. Haha but i am not going to gain more weight to fit into this ;p

Hee i also bought myself a bikini!!! ;p becos in key west will be doing kayaking & snorkelling, so need to hv a swim wear. Also dear dear said don't get 1pc suit, will be funny over here. Hee true. Realise 1pc suit is mean for senior ladies here (hmm excluding those extremely sexy & revealing ones). Quite happy with what i found ;p But again, size is always a challenge. Once i went to Dillards, the lady asked me to go to junior section as adult starts from 34inches onwards. So there i went, to the junior section. But didn't find anything that suits me.

Thkfully last min, i found something i really like! And dear dear said i look nice ;) Again if there is xs, go for it. If not small. I got a small as there is no xs. The srvc attendant said wash them and put in dryer, it will shrink a bit. Hee yet to try that.

Tomorrow is the day

Yes, tomorrow is the day where we will be flying to Orlando. Mixed feelings. 1/4 way thru packing. Hmm somehow not as excited as i thought. Guess becos hv been busy lately.

Hope that things will be different when i reach there. Frankly, i do wish to see the beautiful castle and Cinderella coming to life :) Pray for good weather. Hmm if God permits, not too much sun, instead a cloudy day.

While waiting

While waiting to prepare for dinner, hee update blog. What hv i been busy lately??? Hmm finalising the trip, still got car rental that is managed by any person, tidying up stuff, surfing the net for sale etc..but hardly get anything as the size overhere, i find not easy to gauge.

Now when shopping, i always hv to fall back to junior section which the clothes i don't really fancy. The adult ladies size '0' or small sometimes can look fluffy on us asian girls. Frankly when it comes to clothes, i still find the varieties and qualities back in s'pore is much better. There are so so much cottom material tops overhere!! ;p

Ok time's up. Will go cook now, later tonight start to pack luggage a bit. Counting down...

Fated to love you

Hv i ever share that i am hooked to a taiwan series called 'Fated to love you' fr u tube. It is currently broadcasting in Taiwan. And there is a couple really nice persons that will upload it every week aft the show. Hence others and I can watch ;p

These 2 days basically lazing at home as dear dear has been rather tired. He was home at 1am on Fri and Sat he was really tired so we stayed at home except we out to Texas Rdhse for dinner!! So so nice hee. Luv the steak there. I too was tired fr the gym on Fri hee ;p Oh ya we went to cosco too!! Wow things are really cheap there too. Next time will buy toilet rolls etc fr there. But need to hv cosco card to enter.

Home alone

Yes now i am home alone, watching tv and updating the blog at the same time. Dear dear will be home real late today as he has ranking to do. To rank the engineers and managers. He has so so busy lately that i start to worry abt his health. Hope by end of today, his schedule will be better. Hv been boiling tonic for him more often now. Will continue to do so.

Time flies. Didn't realise that we will be flying to Florida next Fri. I thought it's the wk aft. Hope that this will be a good break for dear dear. Hmm but pray for good weather. Its hotter there. Oh no, the sun....hee will put tonnes of sunblock.

Oh ya, today i went to the gym and did cardio wkout for half an hour. Hee will go there again tomorrow..hee provided can wake up ;p Need to exercise more so that to hv more stamina as well as lose weight. I think i put on a bit of weight ;(

What else lei. Oh ya i called home and my dad is abt to bath toby. So sweet. So hang up real quick. Later will call again. I enjoy watching animal planet here but sometimes can be saddening to see how pets are being abandoned or neglected. And cases where animals need to be humanly neuternised (hmm correct spelling?) ;( So sad, if only us humans can be more responsible.

Yellowstone Adventure & Fireworks

We came back safely fr the Yellowstone. Really thkful for the weather. Not as hot as expected and quite cold at night. Anyway, yellowstone temp is always lower hee. Saw quite a no. of animals including deers, wolf, bisons, brown bear, and deers with horns (hee can't remember the name). It was a bit crowded thou. Yet its fun becos when you saw a no. of cars parking at the side of the road, you wld know there are animals ;p The most interesting part for me was i never knew that these animals shed too during summer! Except for the brown bear, but maybe he did. Too far to tell, need to keep a safe distance. I must say they look nicer with the rich coat in winter! And the horns are beautiful! Really amazed by God's work. One of the dear walked past our car and i was so tempted to touch his body ;p Guess they are used to seeing humans already.

On the next day, we had a nice encounter too. A group of deers near the river bank. We were very close to them (not just us lah, other visitors too). And you know what, we drove them into the river!! Felt so bad. They felt abit threaten so they moved into the river. And the baby deers swam near to the mother. So cute and touching. Really like babies learning how to swim.

Oh ya, somehow the website or the motel personnel made a mistake. We were short of rooms so in the end 6 squeezed in a room. But not exactly squeeze, we hv technically 3 queen size beds. To me is kind of fun, reminded me of Nav camps ;) Miss the gd old days (Oh no...when someone starts to reminisce the past, he/she is aging!!!)

Oh ya, some of us (in total there were 18 of us who came to yellowstone, wow like joining a tour grp) went river rafting. Hee us not in the pic as i don't know how to swim and florida trip coming, wanna save for the trip ;p. We went to continue on the rest of yellowstone. Indeed, 2 days are not enough to cover the entire yellowstone.

Yet again, comparatively we (most of us) prefer to visit yellowstone in the winter on snow mobile. It more fun that way then restricted by the car. Even though we covered lesser places but the experience was fantastic! But hvg said that the scenery is certainly nicer in summer as all the trees are in green and being bare hee ;0)

Oh ya, not forgetting the firewks on 4th july! It was fabulous! Never ending. It lasted for at least half an hour. We were standing in the cold, thinking aloud when it wld end hee. It was a remarkable memory i must say. Tonnes of firewks in a small town in yellowstone. Hmm those in s'pore can't be compared. In btw, one of the guys joked that we shld sing "We the citizens of s'pore, pledge ourselves as one united pple...." haha really so so funny. Can't imagine what wld the ang mohs standing next to us think!!!!

Hvg said these, the day after return home was a full resting day for me. Really no stamina already. Some of the folks went to watch movie and a lady asked me to go shopping!!! No no not for me. We went out for tim sum and thereaft rot at home the whole day till dinner.

And yesterday was laundry day for me and cleaning up the bathrm. Today, slower pace. Updating blog and perhaps watch korea serial hee. One of dear dear's colleague lend us movies and serial.

Now abt the sad part, i felt neglected by dear dear yesterday and recently. Sometimes i felt i am redundant here besides staying care of the hse and cooking. Also, when we are out w a grp, he is ahead of me, trying to catch shots. Sometimes just find him too focus with what he wanna do and forget i m around. This morning, he apologised and shared that he had been rather super busy and can't find energy to talk to me when he is back home. Hmm can understd that as confirmation dateline is closing. He needs to confirm the engineers and other courses along the way. Ok will learn to bear with it...by God's grace.

So tired

Hee on one hand am happy that tomorrow is long wkend. We are going to yellowstone again. This time rd in summer. More animals roaming and it seems like mating season ;p

On the other hand, i m so so tired. Guess hv not been sleeping well for last few nites. Kept having dreams and nightmares. And sometimes woke up with bad headaches and stiff neck. Sob sob. Really pray for a gd night sleep. Also becos its very hot i guess...hm to me la..dear dear said ok. You see wat happen is we on aircon right. And it can be really cold in the living area but somehow in our rm, is not as cold ;( and can be hot. So i open window abit. But can be too cold if i didn't cover w blanket. Alamak really so hard. Haha maybe sleep in the living rm hee ;p

Oh ya..lately besides busy w florida ride which i closed the job. Hee send out the itinenaries etc today to those going. We will be leaving on 18 July. Hmm but going to be hot hot there. Tonnes of sunblock. Hmm no choice best timing for all in mid Jul. Oh ya where was i. I am also busy with surfing the net for summer sale hee ;p Things are really cheap but again need to ctrl spending as we will be going florida soon. A sizeable exp for 2. Hence, so far hvn't got anything fr web. Also scare the size don't fit. Sometimes small can be either too big or small ;(

Lastly, busy with searching flight back home. If nothing goes wrong, will fly back to s'pore in mid oct. Need to renew visa. Also i miss my toby boy. By then, it will be half yr apart fr last visit back home. As usual, i called back every wk and toby has been adjusting very well at my mum's plc. And he seems to be a joy to all, esp my mum and titus (my nephew). Oh did i share be4 that he can be jealous if my mum sayang titus. He will go her to get the same sayang too...so so cute..haha my mum also said he is a human-dog. Behave more like a human. And at times, in the night, when my mum goes to the toilet, he will sneak onto the bed and wanna sleep w her. Hee but cannot. I really miss him very much still. Guess certain things in life, time just simply cannot erase the affection.

Independence Day

Time really flies and we are moving onto mth of July! This week is a short wk as Fri is a holiday hee ;) Over the weekends, went shopping as there is sale all ard. Its super tiring! I prefer hiking than shopping now. Somehow its more exhausting then hiking! Spend the whole of yest resting at home. Tonite, we are planning to buy fireworks to play. Hee 1st can play firewks in public. Last few days, there were pple playing already.

Oh ya, my planning of the florida trip is coming to an end. Finally. Hope the trip will go well.
