Today is 25 Mar and its Judy's birthday (hm u.s timing)

What else for today le. Bad headaches these 2 days as hv not been sleeping well. Body aching fr all the activities hee plus nightmares..;( But ok la ;)

Over the wkends, we went fishing again and this time round we caught 5 fishes!!! Dear dear was super happy and he caught 2 out of the 5 fishes. Thereaft, we headed to one of colleagues' place for fish dinner. We ate the fishes given during the ice fishing. They were really very nice, no fishy smell at all. I am so surprised!! Guess with this harvest trip, they may go more often. I am also tempted to get a fishing rod myself and fish too!

On sat, we went shopping the whole day. It was super tiring for the legs and my eyes as the air was dusty as pple were digging at the clothes. Oh ya, it was easter sale so things were really cheap. Hee but i didn't get much things as really lack nothing. Perhaps be4 i go back to s'pore than i will buy tonnes of things for so and so etc...wow a long list..can faint

Oh ya the dinner was pushes to fri instead of thu so friday, i spent the whole day preparing for the meal. It was tiring but satisfying as they like the food ;) Hee next time shld cook pasta..not so much effort as chinese food ;p

Home Alone

Now i am home alone. Dear dear will be home late. He and his colleagues went to check out another fishing location near his office. Hopefully, there is some fishes.

As for me, i read book. Now i am reading a book "A monk who sold his ferrari". An inspirational book fr my sis be4 i left s'pore. Nice book which reflects on the busyness of life and importance of mind, soul and spiritual well being that many have neglected.

Once i finished with this bk, maybe pop by the local library to borrow books to read ;)

Dear dear and his colleagues are planning to visit florida during may. There is a public holiday in May. So next wk on, i'll be busy finding more info on florida i guess.

Meanwhile, waiting for confirmation of the extension so that i can make necessary arrangements to bring Toby boy here. Like getting Toby accustom to crate, vet check up etc...all with the kind help of my family. Really thkful for them ;)

Weekend trip and staying longer here

Yes, just as dear dear mentioned, likely we will be staying here longer than expected! But to be confirmed plus put stamp later. If that's the case, we'll be going back s'pore to settle some stuff and bringing toby here ;) Anyway, will update again when things are more confirmed.

Meanwhile, we went skiing and fishing over the weekend. Dear dear went snowboarding while i went skiing as i had yet to master it. It was a great trip as i went to the higher and steeper slope, coming down alive! But next time, i will put in more speed and less break ;p Yet i hurt myself in this trip. As the slope is steeper, the speed is very much faster, so 2 times i cldn't stop in time and hurt myself. Bruises on leg and a bit of swelling hee. But still ok. just blue black. Now my whole body aching haha. So much for skiing.

Fishing was a nice trip as we were in the middle of the mountains. But a bit cold as i didn't dress enough. Thought it won't be as cold as ice fishing...i was wrong!! Next time need to wear ski attire!!

This coming thu, dear dear is inviting his close colleagues back for dinner (as our rmmates were away for a short break), as they had been taking care and offering him food. Hmm a great challenge ahead! Ok let me think what shld i cook? But again i do enjoy cooking and reading now.

Lastly, really look forward to the possibility of having toby here with me....!

Today is dear dear's birthday!

Yes, today dear dear has turned 1 yr older and i am 1 yr younger than him haha..

Last nite waited till 12 midnight to wish him happy birthday..and he kind of know it and said 'no need lah'...but i replied 'did i say i m going to do anything..hee hee ;p' Sang him a birthday song.

And today, we (i mean his colleagues & i) gave him a surprise. Ash lured him out for lunch while Heng fetch me fr my apartment and buy a cake. Dear dear was so so shocked to see me at lunch that he thought who is this lady who looks so much like my wife! ;p Brought our camera along but i didn't realise that battery is running flat. Just manage to take a few pics. Will upload later.

Adventure at Yellowstone

Yes we are back from Yellowstone and dear dear has updated his blog, now my turn hee. Overall, it was a very wonderful experience seeing the nature, riding the snow mobile, and joking with dear dear's colleagues.

The trip there was a long journey but an enjoyable one as the guys were joking in the car and competing the car race in a safe manner ;p They really hv a competitive spirit haha

Along the way to Yellowstone, the temp kept dropping. Its really cold. We reached a petrol kiosk to pump our last petrol and a dog tried to approach us. I was thinking where he came from. Is he going to freeze to death? All these came into my mind that i almost cried as how can someone leave a dog out in the freezing temp. Abandoned? Dear dear kept assuring me that the dog belonged to someone and they can withstand the temp. The only thing i can do at that pt is to keep praying for his safety ;(..i just hv to trust that he has an owner.

The next day we went onto the yellowstone journey. It was really nice to see the nature on snow mobile. Haha being the passenger was a bliss, there was sit warmer and back rest so the whole journey was enjoyable. Thks dear dear for being the rider! Hee but i got to try to ride the snow mobile for 2 short destinations. It was fun! Haha but i realised i cldn't co-ordinate my hands very well. If i used my left hand to show signals, i wld go hairwired hee. So dear dear had to help me with the signals and kept advising me hee...."Ok, accelerate...ok, slowly reduce speed...ok, let go"..haha ;p poor driver.

As dear dear mentioned, we saw bisons, moose etc...but a bit far for some..how i wish i can touch them..guess only in dreams hee. They all seem so mild and gentle.

The team fr IMFS was a fun gang. They posed silly poses like kicking, being hit by truck, vomitting etc that made a gd laugh.

Yet the most memorable for both us was seeing the beagles and touching them. One of them was called daisy. 2 girls. They were so so friendly that they kept licking at us when we touched them. Like dear dear said, they made our day and reminded us of our Rolex and Toby back in S'pore.

Last but not least, i am really very thkful for God answering my prayer. I had been praying for good weather, no snow but sun. And He answered. I was so so thrilled that i kept thanking God in my heart. Why? Becos days be4 the journey i checked the weather forecast and it said there was a 50% chance of snow. The earlier grp went and met with snow storm and it kind of gave some minus pts to the trip as they were covered with snow. So i prayed for miracle and God gave. Really thkful that there is indeed miracles and possibilities with God, if u believe. God, thk you.

Yellowstone here we come

This sat's itinerary is to Yellowstone national park with dear dear's colleagues. For me, i prefer going in spring or summer. I prefer greenery. But again, this will be last chance to see snow again be4 spring sets in and we leave this place for good. So there we are signing up for the snow mobile tour around the park. Pray for gd weather as there may be snow showers.

Its a 2N, 1 day tour so we will set off on Fri night. Its a 4-5 hour drive to Yellowstone. Oh ya we bought a new camera!! Will get to use it on sat!

We are on the rd of recovery

Ya both of us are on the road to recovery. Slow & steady hee. On sat, went to doc again as true enough the antibiotics is too strong for me. I had an allergy reaction to it. Kept having diarrhea. So we changed another medication.

Basically wkend was resting time for me. Once i went out of the house, i felt so cold. So that's abt it. Hee hope can recover by weekend so we can go out. Hmm where? No idea yet hee.

We went to the doc

Yes yest we went to the clinic as i was terribly sick. Dunno when was the last time that i am so sick fr cold and cough. After diagnose, its bacterial infection and i am put on antibiotics while dear dear just need normal stronger cough medicine as he is already on the road to recovery.

But i must say the medicine is strong. Yet its ok since i am very sick. Throw up a few times.

Seeing doc here is troublesome and expensive. One trip alone costs us usd$150 +. And very silly that clinic is at 1 place while we need to travel to other phamacies to get the medicine. Imagine u r sick and still need to travel ard. And the waiting time is long when there is just a handful of us.

So if possible, hm try to bring s'pore medicine here that suits u, i think. The medicine here seems to be off the shelves one or u need to go see doc, to get the really gd ones which can be too strong.
