Weekend Happenings

Its Mon again but happy as this week is a short week! Also becos dear dear is on ext training these 2 days so he gets to come home really early. Today he came hm at 5.30pm!!! Wow once in a lifetime man ;) Hee thereaft he busy visiting the punggol forum while i finish my ironing and toilet cleaning ;) Really so so nice to see him hm so early when the sun is still shining. At ard 7plus we headed to my eye specialist for a follow up check up on my infected eye. All cleared! Hooray!


Last weekend is sort of packed with activities hee. I planned one and dear dear gladly followed hee. Oh but lets start with Fri 1st. He's a bit late as he needed to finish up his report. So we headed to nearby punggol park for dinner as hungry hee. I had lamb shank. Hmm not nice. Don't order. Sauce is not nice and the meat i felt overcooked. As usual, dear dear wld say that i m adventurous w food hee. But me being me, i like to try new things. Moreover, lamb shank is smthg that i wld never cook at hm as it takes 5-6 hrs to cook!


Thereaft, dear dear brought me to esplanade for a walk. Tried to take pic but pic quality no gd. Guess camera ph has yet to be able capture night scene. Its so rowdy there. Its crowded with teenagers, as if there is some sort of event. We walked ard, over looking fullerton and the marina bay. Its really nice landscape! Hee we went into the Esplanade and sat down observing the youngsters and their dressing & behavior. Really a diff generation. The guys wore so tight jeans. All wanna to be paul twohill hee. Suddenly realise that we are old already. We can never go back to the younger days. Our complexion and dressing are so diff fr them. We hv indeed walked a long way. Hmm how shld i put in, juz glad that God has put me there, saw that alot of things are temporal and we need to focus on things that are eternal. Frankly, i was thkful to be at Esplanade. Somehow like the eyes suddenly "opened".


On Sat, dear dear needed to back off for a while but it was a fast one. So when he came hm we headed to Taka for shopping. Window shopping for wedding band hee. See, see, look, look. Wow got toy fair at the Taka plaza! At an instance thought of Hannah & Mercia hee. At late aft, headed for hm. Be4 that we bought brownies and beard pa pa!!! Mmm really very very nice!! Hmm but aft taking the brownies i felt uncomfortable for awhile. Maybe due to the caffeine in it? But an hour or so ok.



At night, we went to chong chong for supper. So long never been there! Really miss the hawker there. Oh ya, was joking w dear dear maybe the sugarcane girl doesn't like him becos everytime he orders fr her, she forgets. And we also feel her so unhappy, whenever she delivers the sugarcane, her face is so long (not only to us). Guess she must be super tired fr carrying the super heavy glasses (she carries 4-5 big glasses at a time, wow so muscular!). Hee middle of the night, we brought toby down for walk as we were full and toby yet to hv his walk. A weird pair of parents indeed. Like dear dear said, toby must be thinking "Why daddy & mummy likes to bring me down when everything is dark dark???" Ha ha


Dear dear being super guilty of what he ate last night and the nights be4, decided to jog on Sun. And he did! And super long, 8km! Luckily, i didn't join (becos of the sun. He started at 9 plus. If 7plus i might join him). Instead, i did my usual yoga at hm. Wait, & wait he's not back, gave him a call to make sure he's ok hee.


Alamak i was excited abt the Ndy funfare downstairs but by the time we went down its nearly over. Hee its only for the morning. We'll there at noon so nothing to see except for the last dance perf by some sch girls. Boring and we walked off.


As usual, went back to my pil's place. Brandon has grew so much or is it my eyes!? He is longer now. Hee i tried to talk to him but he seems not to like me. Maybe he hardly sees me. Most of the times i see him, he is sleeping or awake only a while. Oh ya, i bottle fed him. So nice feeling! And he sat on my lap ;) Really very shiok hee. (The lady carrying Brandon in e pic is the maid, Lucy. She is realli gd with babies!)


At night we went to the fish soup place. This time rd we went to the branch at rangoon. Not as crowded. But my fil was complaining it was more exp there. Hee but the plus pts, the girls there were younger. Seems like all the girlfriends and daughters are helping out at the branch?! All put on full make up to work. Wow really cannot imagine how they can tanah.


Hee guess that's all for the weekend. Packed but really enjoyable, given that i stayed at hm during weekdays.
